From the history of the enterprise
Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Ogólnego spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością (Limited Liability Company) was established by notarial deed No. 5397/1993 on September 11, 1993 and entered into the commercial register of the District Court in Kalisz - section B No. H-1154.
On 11.03.2006 the Company was registered in the National Court Register under 0000198649 number.
PBO gained its professional experience from the Ostrowski Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Ogólnego (OPBO), which, as a result of economic and political changes in Poland, terminated construction services in the first half of the 1990s. OPBO was a large state-owned enterprise conducting domestic and export activities of construction services.
The growing demand of the national economy for construction services has contributed to the systematic development of the company. Employment increased.
At the end of the nineties, Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Ogólnego employed an average of approximately 190 employees from various industries in the field of construction. Such employment is maintained for subsequent years of operation.
In 2005, a separate organisational unit from Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Ogólnego was established under the name: "PBO - Construction" spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością (limited liability company), which starts construction service activities in Poland and Germany..
Quality policy
From the beginning of its construction activity, Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Ogólnego as a partner in construction investment processes has relied on the credibility and quality of services rendered. In order for the company management to be based on global management standards, in the years 2002/2003 the Company introduced a Quality Management System based on ISO 9001: 2000 standards. In 2003 implementation of the system has been confirmed by EN ISO 9001:2000.
The certification body was ITS Certification Service - DEKRA.
Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Ogólnego and PBO – Construction provide construction services at a quality level that meets the requirements of building standards and technical conditions for the implementation of construction works under the Construction Law. With special care they also try to meet the individual requirements of the client, providing services at a quality level that meets the expectations of the Employer.
In 2007, Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Ogólnego has been awarded the "Highest Quality in Construction Industry" certificate for the high quality and comprehensiveness of construction services provided, as well as the exemplary management system granted by the Wielkopolska Association for Quality Research under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy.
Chamber of Commerce and Industry of South Wielkopolska in 1997 distinguished the activities of Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Ogólnego with "Golden Lion" award.
Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Ogólnego and PBO-Construction belong to the elite club called "Gazela Biznesu".
Confirmation of quality aspirations of the Company are also awards and distinctions gained for completed buildings.
As part of competitions organised by the Polish Association of Construction Engineers and Technicians, many completed buildings were awarded with the title of "Mister of Construction".

The company supports local organisations and social environments through charity activities, sponsoring cultural and sports projects, which is confirmed by, among others, the following titles, statuettes, diplomas:
1. Dobrodziej Kultury Ostrowska 2000 - (Benefactor Kulture Ostroviensia - 2000).
2. "Gift of Heart" statuettes for many years of cooperation with the Association called "Ostrowianie dzieciom specjalnej troski".
3. Financial support to the Ostrów men's basketball team belonging to the Basketball League.
4. Supporting sports associations and clubs from the city of Ostrów Wielkopolski and the surrounding area.
5. "Trójka cycling route 2011" organised by the Polish Radio "Trójka" - sponsorship.
